Forest Resource Management Planning

In working closely with landowners, Bay State Forestry Service can draw up an accurate management plan that corresponds with the landowners goals & objectives. Some of the goals may include:

  • Long-term sustainable forest management through periodic harvests to improve forest health & yield more income
  • Increased resource production for the local economy
  • Cordwood production
  • Wildlife Habitat Improvement
  • Forest Aesthetics
  • Recreational Opportunities

Bay State Forestry Service utilizes GPS/GIS mapping to produce high quality maps for forest resource management planning.

We are also an avid supporter of the American Forest Foundation Tree Farm program.
